The company

Port work is won on the ground, not on paper.

Continental is an established cargo handling and port operations company, present in the Indian maritime and logistics sector since 2007. Stevedoring, cargo and container handling, equipment operations and terminal services — built around one principle: reliable, efficient, professionally managed port services.

Long-term involvement in port operations has taught us the problems shipping lines, terminal operators, cargo owners and logistics companies actually run into. We supply the manpower, equipment, operational support and coordination that keep cargo handling moving.

JNPT/Nhava Sheva and Hazira

Our experience is not limited to manpower deployment — it is an integrated support structure covering people, equipment, supervision, coordination and execution.

What we do

Nine verticals. One accountable team.

From the quayside to the logistics park — manpower, equipment, handling and coordination, available separately or as one combined operational scope.

01

Port & Terminal Operations

Cargo and container handling, CFS and dry ICD support, railway ICD operations and manpower deployment across port and terminal environments.

02

ODC & Special Cargo Handling

Lashing and chocking, palletisation, fumigation, labelling, marking and numbering for cargo that needs preparing before it moves.

03

Material Handling Equipment

Reach stackers, cargo and container cranes, diesel and battery forklifts on rental or lease — with operators who know the machine.

04

Warehousing & Cargo Handling

Warehouse operations and maintenance support, loading and unloading, internal cargo movement and the manpower to keep it running.

05

Empty Container Depot & Container Management

Empty container handling, depot operational support, container movement and coordination, and the transport that ties it together.

06

Transportation & Special Cargo Movement

Cargo and container transportation, with particular experience in the planning and securing that ODC and special cargo demand.

07

SEZ & FTWZ Management

Operational and management support inside Special Economic Zones and Free Trade Warehousing Zones, shaped to the facility's rules.

08

Maritime & Ship Services

Ship chartering support, ship spares handling and clearance, chandling — lubricants, grease, paint — provisions and ship management.

09

Logistics Park Operations

Operational support and management for logistics parks: cargo movement, manpower, equipment, warehousing and the coordination between them.

How we work

An extension of your operations team.

Every successful logistics operation is built on reliability, responsiveness, coordination and accountability. These are the six things we hold ourselves to.

01

Reliability

Consistent operational support, with dependable manpower and equipment availability shift after shift.

02

Operational Efficiency

Structured coordination to minimise unnecessary delays and keep cargo moving through the terminal.

03

Experienced Workforce

Personnel with practical, on-ground experience in port, cargo, container and equipment operations.

04

Safety & Compliance

A disciplined approach to operational procedures, safety requirements and applicable statutory obligations.

05

Client Partnership

We adapt our operational support to your requirements and work as an extension of your own team.

06

Accountability

A service provider should own its responsibilities. We coordinate with stakeholders and close out issues ourselves.

Operational strength

Labour and equipment are the easy half.

Cargo handling succeeds on coordination between stakeholders, timely deployment, effective supervision and equipment that is actually available. We bring those together under one operational framework.

People

100+ employees across stevedoring, cargo and container handling, equipment operation, maintenance and supervision.

Equipment

Reach stackers, cranes and forklifts, backed by personnel experienced in both operating and maintaining them.

Coordination

Labour, union, statutory and stakeholder coordination — the part of port work that decides whether a shift runs.
